What to Expect During Your Spray Tan Appointment

Color and Booster Consult

Your service provider will consult with you to select the correct formula for your skin tone and desired depth of tan. Ask your provider about adding a variety of specialty enhancements to your spray tan such as skin firming booster drops, calming CBD Booster drops, fun glitter booster, or a luscious scent!

Foot Protection and Barrier Cream Application
You will be given adhesive foot coverings that will protect the bottom of your feet from tanning solution and allow you to walk out of the clinic without shoes to rub your tan off. Next, you, with the help of your provider, will apply barrier cream to your palms, elbows, and knees to prevent unnatural looking coloration in those areas. Do not touch any other areas of your body after the cream is applied, it will create splotches.

PH Balancing Spray
We will first spray your body with a pH balancing solution that will prevent the oxidation of the solution and an unnatural orange color. You will be directed by your provider to take various poses to ensure even application of the spray.

Spray Tan Application
Next, the spray tan solution will be applied using the same poses you performed in the pH balancing step. Do not touch your body during or immediately after application, this will ruin your tan. Your provider will use the air gun to dry you after the application.

Get Dressed Carefully
When you feel fully dry, dress carefully. Remember to not touch or rub your body until your tan fully develops and you rinse off. Touching your body will remove tan from one area and transfer it to your palms and they will turn orange.
